We were talking about different ideologies in my polictal science class monday. My teacher went over socialism, totalitarinism, capitalism and all that. When he got to anarchy he first off tried to explain where the name came from and got completly confused. He then tried to discribe an anarchist but instead he told everyone what a nihilist was instead of an anachist. Then he said Somolia was a good example of an modern day anarchy. Somolia is not an anarchy it is in a huge power struggle where everyone is trying to gain power. In an anarchy no one wants or gets power. To top it all off he showed the class a clip from Black Hawk Down where a group of militants shoot down a group of unarmed civilians. How is that anarchy? When he was asked how that was an anarchy and not totalitarinism, he said most anarchys turn into totalitarin governments.
